Bukid Outdoor Shop houses the first ever indoor rock climbing center in the region. Bukid has four different walls which vary in difficulty. Bukid climbers not only do wall climbing, they also go on outdoor rock climbing when the weather is right.

Team Bukid, Bukid's own rock climbing team boasts winning national and international sport climbing competitions like the Asian X-Games where Joane Songalia, the god-daughter of Jason Garrido won both Silver and Bronze medals consecutively. 

Bukid Climbing Gym is more of a hangout place than a sports center. People from all walks of life try to conquer the artificial rockface walls. Students from different schools in Tacloban also go to the gym as some of their teachers include Wall Climbing in their Physical Education (P.E.) course.

We welcome all people interested to try to conquer our walls. Our rates are minimal at PHP 30.00 per 2 hours session. It's inclusive with a Belayer (also known as trainer), Safety gears, chalk and of course, instructions. We wish to lend people rockshoes but for hygiene purposes, we don't do this. We encourage you to wear any flat shoes when going to the gym.
